Educational guide — not medical advice or therapy.

Velora Intimate — guide cover
25
pages of plain-language education and private reflection
11
areas you rate in the private check-in, from dryness to pressure
8
questions to ask your clinician, already written for you
4
conversation starters for the talk that keeps getting postponed
Why this exists

Real physical changes. Almost no one explains them clearly.

This guide won't promise your libido back or a hormone fix. It will help you understand what's actually changing, recognise what's treatable, and find the words to talk about it — with a partner, or with a clinician.

The centrepiece

A private check-in, not a score to fail.

Rate eleven areas from 0 to 3 — dryness, discomfort, desire, arousal, orgasm, body confidence, stress, fatigue, connection, communication, pressure. Nothing is diagnostic. It simply makes visible what matters most to you right now, so the next conversation starts somewhere real.

Your doctor-visit page

Tick what you're noticing, note when it started and how distressing it is, list what you've already tried. Then eight ready-made questions — from pelvic floor therapy to hormonal and non-hormonal options — so you don't have to find the words in the room.

Communication

How to say it without a fight

Six rules for a conversation that reduces pressure instead of adding it — plus four sentences you can borrow word for word when describing what feels different and what would help.

Page 14 — how to talk about intimacy
Practical

What actually helps, compared

Moisturizers versus lubricants, side by side — what each is for, when to use it, which formulas to look for, and what tends to irritate. Then the full landscape of medical options, explained rather than prescribed.

Page 9 — lubricants vs. vaginal moisturizers
Safety first

Pain is information, not a cost of aging

One page separates what deserves a routine appointment from what needs urgent attention — so you know when to stop managing something quietly on your own.

Routine appointment — persistent pain or burning, pain with penetration, recurrent urinary symptoms, new pelvic pain, distressing changes in sexual function
Urgent medical attention — new bleeding after menopause, sudden or rapidly worsening symptoms, significant unexplained bleeding

All twenty-five pages

Five are private fill-in pages. The rest is short, plain-language education you can read in one sitting.

Step one

Read it privately

A PDF that lands in your inbox after checkout. No app, no account, no one else's eyes on it.

Step two

Fill in what's true

The check-in, the doctor-visit page, and the prompts about what you miss and what you need understood.

Step three

Take it into the room

To an appointment, to a conversation with a partner, or simply back to yourself whenever you need it.

"Comfort, consent, and connection matter more than performing a version of sexuality that no longer feels right."

From the opening letter

Questions, answered honestly

Is this explicit?
No. It's a clinical-wellness guide written in plain, respectful language — the tone of a good doctor's appointment, not erotica. It covers desire, arousal, comfort, pain, and communication as health topics, and it contains no imagery of that kind.
Is this medical advice?
No. Everything here is educational and evidence-informed, written to help you understand what's changing and prepare for a real conversation. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it's explicit that persistent pain, bleeding, or urinary symptoms should be evaluated by a clinician.
I'm single — is this only for couples?
Not at all. Most of the guide is about your own body, comfort, and understanding: desire, GSM and dryness, pain, treatment options, body image, and the doctor-visit pages. The partner and communication pages are there if and when you want them.
Does it tell me to take hormones?
It deliberately doesn't recommend any path. It explains the landscape — moisturizers and lubricants, local vaginal therapy, systemic hormone therapy, pelvic floor physical therapy, counseling — and is clear that local and systemic therapy are not the same decision. That choice belongs with a clinician who knows your history.
Can I fill it in digitally?
Yes. It's a fillable PDF — type into it on your phone, tablet, or laptop, or print the pages you want to write on by hand. Nothing is uploaded anywhere; the file stays with you.
Will I have to show this to anyone?
Only if you choose to. One page is designed to be shared with a partner and two are designed to be taken to an appointment — the rest is private reflection meant for you alone.
